The Best of Live 2013-2023 contains 23 songs, which were recorded during concerts in Amsterdam, Bilbao, Hamburg, Heerlen, Cologne and home city Maastricht. The album is available on CD/digital (RLR records) and on USB flash drive. The album was preceded by two singles: Hold It Down Somehow and Hitchhike Overdrive.
The most recent studio album was Firestone, the album with which Johan and Digna celebrated their 15th anniversary in 2021. “After Firestone and our anniversary tour we were not immediately ready to write new material. It felt good to pause and look back after playing for so many years. We wanted to do what people in art so beautifully call a ‘retrospect’. Since 2013, we have made audio recordings at many of our live performances and it has been our wish for some time to do something with these recordings,” says Johan. “Also because we won’t be touring this year, this seemed like the right time to release our first Jodymoon live album,” Digna adds. Together they have recently listened to more than 10 years of recordings and selected the most beautiful renditions for Jodymoon – The Best of Live 2013-2023.
